RSS is a tool that checks for website/blog/forum updates automatically and then lets you know the changes. My mum always said that if there was a shortcut or an easier way of doing something - I would find it. This is the easy way to find out when I have updated my blog or any website that you often refer to is updated.
So the first exercise is to subscribe to the RSS feed in the right hand column, follow the prompts to set up your feed. By looking at the settings you can change the frequency which it looks up the site, most applications I looked at had a default of 1 day.
I am using Internet Explorer, so when I have a few minutes I will click on the "radio active" looking button and see any updates to the websites/blogs/forums I have subscribed to.
Have a go - I dare you!!!
